Just a friendly reminder that you can catch us at two spots on Saturdays. The bakery is open from 9-3 and we are at the Troy Farmers Market from 9-2. In the summer months you will only find our Macarons inside the nice air conditioned bakery ( we do not want that delicious buttercream filling melting out in the sun.) This week at the farmers market will be offering our wonderful fresh out of the oven Canelè de Bordeaux! We will be making about 30 of them so make sure you get to the market bright and early!

Anyone need dessert for the weekend? We will have twelve medium sized specially made Macarons this Friday. This wonderful dessert has a layer of Dacquoise cake sandwiched between chocolate and espresso buttercream. This was inspired by the traditional Opera cake which some of you may have had in years prior here at the Placid Baker.
